LEARN TO PLAY - FULL HOCKEY GEAR and hockey stick required. Prerequisite is LEARN TO SKATE or players who come with skating experience.

*If you have had 2 years of hockey our 5pm - 7pm classes would be more suitable.

U8, U7, U6, U5, U4

This class is about learning to love the sport of hockey - by developing the skills needed to have fun playing hockey!

Skating Skills:

Speed, Stride, Balance, Power.

Edge work, 1 Foot Holds, Cross overs, Stops, Tight turns.

Puck Skills:

Speed with the puck & Puck handling.

Turning & Stoping with the puck.

Shooting & Passing.

Games:

Battle drills for stick checks & Puck protection.

Small area scrimmages to practice playing the game.

Games of tag etc at the beginning to have fun!
