WHAT DO LONGER CLASSES LOOK LIKE?
10mins – explosive speed training.
30mins – class will be broken up into groups. 1 group working on inside edges for 15mins and the other group working on outside edges for 15mins and then the groups switch.
10mins – games & races working on these skills worked on.
ZAMBONI BREAK – players will get to take their helmets off and have a snack. Re-energize!
40mins – 4 stations working on stickhandling, passing & shooting. Each station 10mins each.
10mins – games working on skills worked on.
ZAMBONI BREAK – RE – ENERGIZE!
20mins – two zones working on 1vs1 drills. Depending on the week working on both offensive & defensive tactics.
30mins – small area games. Scrimmages with a purpose to promote using new skills, develop hockey IQ & creativity. Most importantly have FUN!

After 6 weeks of these classes the students hit a new skill level and you see some serious changes in games & practices. They will LOVE hockey in a BIG WAY. Improving is fun!

30mins – one group is working on edge work using a slide (stop) the other group is working on hard cuts with & without the puck. 15mins and then switch.
10mins – Shooting wrist shots in 4 zones.
ZAMBONI BREAK – RECHARGE
30mins – 4 zones working on different 1vs1 moves into a shot.
20mins – small area games.
After 6 weeks of classes (or sooner) our students hit a new skill level and you see some serious changes in games & practices. They will LOVE hockey in a BIG WAY. Improving is fun!
